Instructor: Noah Zanella. In this generative seminar, we will look at the role of the quotidian in poetry and prose from a selection of queer writers and write our own pieces exploring the potential of the everyday.

Instructor: Rachel Werner. Overcome your writing rut with meditative journaling, goal mapping exercises, writing prompts and engaging discussions, and more.

Instructor: Kimberly Lee. With a brief collage activity as the basis for imaginative writing, this workshop will explore a wide variety of lost, unusual, and untranslatable words, transforming them into playful inspiration for extraordinary writing.

Instructor: Holly Day. Learn how to compile a bibliography from sources including online and physical collections of newspaper archives, library special collections, photo banks, and more, with info on tracing source material and tips for staying organized.

Instructor: Peter Mountford. Through a combination of readings, writing prompts, and feedback from both classmates and the instructor, this course will introduce key elements of fiction: character, plot, voice, setting, and point of view.

Instructor: Mayur Chauhan. This generative class includes writing exercises, telling jokes in a highly supportive environment, adapting jokes into short humor pieces for humor publications, and more.

Instructor: Amy Bowers. This generative class will include discussion and examination of homes in literature.

Instructor: Becca Yenser. This class includes discussion and close examination of the techniques and structure employed in Lucia Berlin's writings, specifically her combination of fiction and autobiography.

Instructor: Jennifer (JP) Perrine. With in class writing and discussion, this class will demonstrate how drawing on constraints such as lipograms, acrostics, erasures, and collage, can create movement and a bounty of possibilities.

Instructor: Corinne Manning. This workshop will utilize the Critical Response Process to workshop each individual student's story; students will conference with instructor to determine the craft element focus for class discussions.

Instructor: Kirsten Sundberg Lunstrum. This generative class is a crash course on the elements of short fiction and the process of building a story from idea to finished draft, including craft discussion, writing prompts, and more.

Instructor: Ruth Joffre. This class will introduce students to flash fiction form, such as dribbles, drabbles, and hermit crab forms, and provide space to generate and share new work, with in-class writing prompts and exercises.
